Director of Nursing (DON)

Located in Solomons, MD

Salary: $150K range - based on experience

Requirements of the Director of Nursing:

• Must have MD RN license
• Must have prior Director of Nursing experience in long term care
• Must have long term care/ skilled nursing experience
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong clinical background and knowledge

Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:

• Provide effective nurse management (hiring, development, training, performance feedback, etc.) that assures utilization of personnel to best meet the needs of the people receiving supports and services.
• Develop and implement health care related training that assures the best possible delivery of health related supports and services.
• Review training at least annually and makes modifications as needed.
