Arrowhead Engineered Products is hiring for an experienced Director of Marketing for our Powersports in North America. This position is based in Boise, ID. For candidates not local, relocation up to 15K could be available.
Summary:
Arrowhead Engineered Products is seeking a Director of Marketing, NA Powersports reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Marketing, NA. The primary focus of this role is to increase stakeholder awareness and engagement, grow powersports portfolio of brands, and highlight the amazing things Arrowhead does for the industries in which it participates. The ideal candidate will have extensive powersports experience working with internal and external stakeholders to drive revenue with a broad range of marketing experiences that range from events to digital initiatives. This dynamic leader will lead a cross-functional hybrid team and will dotted line report to the leader of North America powersports.
Duties:
- Strategize, develop, and implement integrated marketing to advance powersports brand identity and increase stakeholder awareness and understanding of Arrowhead Engineered Products powersports value proposition.
- Be the strategist and champion for the messaging and storytelling aimed at driving external and internal stakeholder engagement and growing powersports brands.
- Lead activities to promote the companys thought leadership and value proposition, media and public relations, and employee communications.
- Collaborate with sales, product development and functional organizations across the company to achieve their business goals through communications and marketing consistent with the companys brands and corporate messaging.
- Oversee budget for marketing and communications initiatives to maximize opportunities and ROI.
- Lead the development of performance dashboards and converting those results into actional insights.
- Maintain a detailed program roadmap and calendar, dashboards, and processes to regularly track marketing performance and impact versus the strategic plan.
- Implement sponsorship, athlete and ride program strategy, including developing performance metrics and collaborating with global powersports leaders.
- Develop and mentor the marketing and communications team, promoting a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and learning, and diversity and inclusiveness.
Education and Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in managing and inspiring powersports marketing teams in multi-brand, multi-channel organizations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrable experience in developing and executing efficient strategies and plans for all aspects of marketing and communications, including branding, product and thought leadership promotion, events, digital marketing and social media, and sponsorships.
- Strong team player working collaboratively across organizational lines with a win-win mindset.
- Hands-on, result-oriented, and a player/coach, including rolling up your sleeves and acting as high performing individual contributor when needed.
- Excellent writing and messaging skills with a proven ability to articulate a clear, unique value proposition.
- Experience leveraging and managing relationships with external vendor-resources to compliment internal resources.
- Enthusiastic self-starter that is organized and can define goals and prioritize your and your teams work in a dynamic and at times ambiguous environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and infuse a strong sense of urgency in others to adhere to tight, last-minute deadlines when they arise.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, or sports marketing.
- Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets.
