Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director ofBusiness Development to join our team. The Director ofBusiness Development will be responsible for driving the growth of our company through strategic planning, market analysis, and customer relationship management. This is a leadership role that requires strong sales skills, project management expertise, the ability to negotiate and close deals as well as lead/manage the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic Business Development plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Identify new market opportunities and potential clients through market research and analysis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Lead the sales team in generating new business leads and closing sales deals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for clients
- Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and forecast revenue
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of the sales team and provide coaching and training as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred)
- Proven track record of success in Business Development, sales, or related roles
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in project management and strategic planning
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective business strategies
