Medi Home Health & Hospice, a division of Medical Services of America Inc., currently seeks an experienced Full-Time Director of Marketingin Asheville, NC.
This person will be responsible for maintaining sales and marketing of assigned territory to build revenue, ensure profitability and maintain the quality provider image.
· Establishing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts within assigned territory.
· Planning, establishing, and maintaining open lines of communication with the area physicians and health care facilities through the PCC’s and AE’s.
· Works with the PCC’s and AE’s to education and interpret Medicare guidelines for all facets of home care.
· Meets with PCC’s, AE’s and Administrator on a weekly basis to discuss strategies, planning procedures and goals.
· Educates all PCC’s and AE’s on any pertinent information regarding relevant policy changes.
· Performs field assessments of current sales team and future sales team members.
· Meets regularly with the Regional Director of Marketing and Administrator for the purpose of discussing problems and future planning to keep informed of all pertinent information regarding relevant changes in the health care field and agency policy.
· Utilizes company’s target focused sales programs to meet the needs of the Agency.
· Implements and conducts the orientation program of new sales employees.
· Monitors competition by gathering current market place data.
· Conducts an annual market territory analysis of top ten competitors and submits to RDOM/Administrator.
Qualifications and Skills
· Degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
· Knowledge of sales techniques and physician, hospital, skilled nursing facility, case management and discharge planning needs.
· Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills.
· Three to five years medical sales experience preferably in the geographical market of employment.
