SUMMARY:

We are seeking an innovative and strategic leader with strong technical skills to serve as the Director of IT. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the US Information Technology team and ensuring our company's technology systems meet the needs of the users for today and into the future. This role also requires supporting our core technology and expanding it as part of the company's maturity. This position will work closely with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive roadmap for the company’s IT strategy and supporting policies. In addition, this role will work closely with our colleagues in Israel on global infrastructure projects to maintain and enhance the services we provide to our internal user base.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage the US IT team.
  • Monitoring and analysis of IT processes, infrastructure and systems to identify issues, risks or preempt problems before they grow.
  • Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards and processes, providing recommended IT s improvements.
  • Assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements for reporting and planning, and capture other metrics.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Execute assigned IT infrastructure projects on our main SaaS platforms including current and or new technology to further enhance Corporate IT services.
  • Provide technical support to employees for hardware and operating system issues along with administrative tasks within defined SLA.
  • Work as part of a distributed IT team responsible for several regions, follow the technical and security guidance and ensure meeting ISO/SOC compliance needs.
  • Maintain continuity of technical support (Helpdesk) during overlapping business hours in other regions.
  • Manage the procurement, deployment, rapid replacement and return of all hardware and peripheral home office equipment to Americas employees including decommission, returning hardware and refurbishing/destruction.
  • Prioritize responsibilities as they evolve on a day-to-day basis, and escalate appropriately.
  • Suggest creative improvements to our current services to automate, and enhance our services, technology and security.
  • Manage a growing US IT team with abilities to divide time to manage, time for core infrastructure projects and time to support users.
  • Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations.
  • Facilitate IT security audits or investigations.
  • Oversee security of systems, networks, and corporate information of users and SaaS services.
  • Build a solid technology base to align with industry best practices for user endpoint devices.
  • Implement and manage endpoint solutions to support current needs and scale for growth.
  • Support all departments with a primary focus in the Americas region.
  • Support the full employee life-cycle of events from onboarding to off-boarding working closely with HR and Operation teams.
  • Create and execute an Asset Management program across the life cycle of user and device management.
  • Execute ad-hoc projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven success in implementing and maintaining an user base of 100’s of users including their hardware, software and core corporate applications.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and hands-on experience in working with systems such as Okta, Google Workspace, MDM and mail gateway with quality and accuracy.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the technology field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a leadership or management role in an IT setting.
  • Five (5)+ years of experience with Okta and its groups, workflows and automation.
  • Five (5)+ years of experience with managing Google Workspace, including Gmail, Applications, access management.
  • Proven record meeting fast paced startup SLA’s for configuration, deployment, and maintenance of end user devices.
  • Ability to clearly explain solutions to technical issues and create explicit and concise documentation for users.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
  • Flexible and capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks to pivot with business needs in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ability to work with employees, vendors, and business partners in a friendly, customer-oriented manner.
  • Strong strategic thinking, prioritization and problem-solving abilities with consistent and concise execution.
  • Capable of working with employees, vendors, and business partners in a friendly, customer-oriented manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and communicate with staff and stakeholders across time zones.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: a self-starter who is internally driven to impact a department and growth-directed organization.
