Title: DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+
Advanced knowledge of and proven experience maintaining the level of network infrastructure and security required to sustain the digital workflow of a large organization
Advanced knowledge of the maintenance, repair, and optimization of various computer operating systems
Knowledge and application of best practices and innovative methods to maintain a modernized technology infrastructure that adequately prepares students for the future
Personal characteristics necessary for working with staff members, students, caregivers, and the general public as part of the K-12 public education sector
Terms of Employment:
12-month contract, Director of Information Technology scale as approved by the School Board.
EVALUATION:
Performances of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provision of the school board’s policy on Evaluation of Personnel.
