Director of Human Resource
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the organization’s Human Resources function. This position will ensure performance management, recruiting, onboarding, staff development, compensation, benefit, retention, and other practices are aligned and in support of Yulista Holding, LLC.’s strategic plan, mission and core values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate various strategies for human resource management including, but not limited to the following:
· Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and healthcare programs
· Employment and regulatory compliance activities
· Policy and procedure development, implementation, and enforcement
· Compensation and benefit administration
· Employee recruitment, onboarding, development, and training
· Performance management and improvement programs
· Develop and maintain company affirmative action programs and supplemental documentation.
· Partner with executive management for strategic planning related to workforce planning.
· Develop training programs and facilitate training activities as necessary.
· Encourage proactive employee relation strategies for responding to issues and manage escalated employee relations issues and liaise with executive management and counsel in resolving issues with potential litigation.
· Optimize the delivery of responsive, customer-focuses Human Resources services.
· Support the recruitment and selection of staff with the qualifications necessary for successful performance, recommending recruitment sources and strategies and assuring the recruitment process and associated records are maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Attend meetings of the Board of Directors, Executive Management Team, Human Resources team and other various events
· Develop workforce / succession analysis plans by estimating, forecasting and anticipating hiring needs and trends. Ensure that that personnel needs are met in a fiscally responsible method
· Foster a productive work environment that encourages positive and effective working relationships and open communication and that is respectful and inclusive of all employees.
· Continuously enhance job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations
· Support management team members by providing Human Resources advice, counsel and decision-making assistance.
· Ensure adherence to master plans and schedules; develops solutions to functional area problems and directs work of employees assigned to business disciplines and those matrixed to various programs / projects.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advise management on actions needed.
· The Director of Human Resources may be required to perform other related duties to ensure the ongoing needs of the organization are met.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Human Resources will direct the overall human resource’s function and perform exempt level decision making including interviewing, hiring, termination, performance reviews and performance corrections. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out and execute assigned tasks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
· Advanced computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs.
· Ability to enter data accurately into databases.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, regulatory requirements, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write complex reports and correspondence.
· Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with external contacts such as customers, vendors, suppliers, legal counsel, regulatory agency officials, etc.
· Must be trustworthy – will handle confidential information routinely.
· Effective communication skills to communicate complex information effectively and clearly to others as well as to present information in front of a large group.
· Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, etc.
· Ability to follow a process.
· Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas.
· Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management and regulatory agencies.
· Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to goals.
· Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, and exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems.
· Must be able to work independently and stay on task with minimal to no supervision.
· Ability to multi-task.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field
· 8-10 years’ experience in Human Resources management
· In depth knowledge of Service Contract Act requirements, OFCCP and EEO regulations, and collective bargaining agreement negotiation.
· Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
· Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
