The HR and Recruiting Director for Ridgeline will have an opportunity to build out an outstanding HR function for a fast growing, private equity backed residential re-roofing and restoration company based in Birmingham, Alabama. The director will have oversight of all HR Functions including payroll, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.
Payroll: Oversee all payroll functions
- Process regular payroll, bonuses, merit changes, and wage garnishments as needed
- Manage employee offboarding
- Ensure PTO is tracked accurately
- Complete employment verifications
Recruitment: Manage full cycle recruiting process for all roles
- Create accurate and standardized job descriptions and advertise relevantly
- Collaborate with hiring managers to interview and identify top candidates
- Manage employment offer process
- **Because of the rapid growth expected, recruitment of sales professionals will be an early focus for the HR Director
Onboarding and Benefits
- Oversee new employee onboarding including benefits administration and assimilation to the company.
- Monitor and ensure employee is on track for success through first 90 days of employment
Legal Compliance
- Ensure company compliance with all applicable multi state labor laws
- Implement policies and procedures consistent with best practices to ensure safety and productivity
- Serve as OSHA liaison
- Manage workers compensation claims
Employee Relations
- Oversee employee improvement plans including documented warnings
- Investigate employee relations issues and employee grievances

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
