Responsibilities
•Recruit, interview, onboard, and train qualified candidates who would be valuable additions to our organization
•Act as a liaison between employees and managers, providing guidance on issues such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
•Provide advice on key organizational policies, decision-making, and strategic planning initiatives, including business administration and annual budgeting
•Ensure the accuracy and up-to-date maintenance of internal documents, paperwork, reports, and records
•Organize Job Fairs/Open Houses to enhance the applicant hiring experience and ensure new hires go through a smooth onboarding process
•Ensure employees adhere to all company policies and procedures
•Assess reports from the HR team, team leaders, and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
•Propose changes in policies and procedures based on employee and company requirements
•Develop recruitment plans, interview schedules, and evaluation criteria in line with HR best practices and labor laws
•Supervise all HR activities, communications, reports, requests, and documents generated and received by the team
•Participate in interdepartmental meetings with other managers
•Oversee exit interviews and exit procedures
•Narrow down the talent pool to highly-qualified candidates, interview the shortlist, and onboard and train new hires
•Meet with departing employees for exit interviews and receive feedback on our current systems for improvement
•Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures, and advise on improvements
•Process and maintain internal documents, paperwork, records, and reports
•Act as the bridge between employees and managers and offer advice on key issues such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
Qualifications
•Bilingual (English/Spanish)
•Minimum 2 years of HR Management experience
•Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills
•Extensive knowledge of onboarding processes and recruiting
•Must be able to commute to the Miami area reliably
•Possess an SHRM certification or certification from a similar institute
•Demonstrate strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
•3-5 years of experience as an HR manager, upper-level HR generalist or in a senior position in HR management
•Hold a bachelor's degree in HR management, business management, or a similar field
