ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Director of Growth Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and brand awareness. You will lead a team of product marketing professionals consisting of content strategists and designers, copywriters and product marketing managers as well as collaborating cross-functionally, and leverage data-driven insights to optimise campaigns and achieve key performance metrics. This role requires a visionary leader who can think creatively, analyse market trends, and drive innovative marketing strategies.
Our Product Marketing team is focused on having a deep understanding of our customers and market, and positioning our products to best serve them. Prior to product launches, the team owns positioning, messaging, gathering customer feedback, and the overall go-to-market strategy internally or in alignment with external partnered institutions. Post product launch, the team drives sales enablement and focus on driving demand, adoption, and the overall success of our products that are marketed all over the world.
Specifically, product marketing supports marketing teams & admissions teams through developing thought leadership messaging, engaging with thought leaders to contribute to top of funnel marketing activities, and content that provide the backbone for Performance Marketing & Strategic Partnership teams to use in the creation of the inbound & outbound efforts across the funnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive Growth Marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives, to ensure coordination of all Content Marketing: website updates, social media strategy & execution, CRM marketing, PR etc.
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing Growth Marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Customer Acquisition: Drive customer acquisition through a variety of channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, partnerships, and more.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics to identify growth opportunities, measure campaign effectiveness, and make data-backed decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Marketing Automation: Implement and optimise marketing automation tools and technologies to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • Brand Awareness: Develop and execute branding initiatives that increase brand visibility and awareness in the target market.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Continuously optimise conversion funnels to improve conversion rates and user experience.
  • Content Strategy - positioning and messaging: Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with the students journey and supports lead generation and customer retention efforts.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are on time, on brand, and on budget.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum:
  • Proven leadership experience in digital marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role, fully managing a team of at least 3 direct reports whose primary work was in the area of digital marketing.
  • At least 2 years leading Growth Marketing strategies or a Growth Marketing team specifically, owning strategic and long-term marketing strategies relating to Growth Marketing such as PR, referral campaigns, distribution strategies and viral marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing digital marketing trends and technologies.

Preferred:
  • At least 2 years of experience in the ecommerce or online education industries, working as part of a world leading brand consumer facing brand.
