As the Director of Growth Marketing, you'll be responsible for defining, executing, and measuring growth strategies to drive new business and client success. Your role requires a balance of analytical thinking, strategic planning, and attention to detail, as you will need to roll up your sleeves and execute but also collaborate with marketing agencies and build a team of direct reports over time.

You will report directly to the VP of Marketing for McKesson Compile, and work closely with the VP of Sales. This is a newly-created role where you will have the opportunity to build a function and a team from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation: Develop and execute a comprehensive lead generation marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue/profit growth.

  • Campaign management: Run awareness and lead generation campaigns, including email campaigns, search, advertising, social media, etc. Oversee the performance of paid media initiatives, optimizing campaigns for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Liaise closely with our sales team to identify key accounts and run targeted ABM campaigns.

  • Events: Run events, including our in-person conference presence as well as webinars and other virtual events.

  • Metrics: Lead the marketing team through KPI reporting and data analysis that tracks marketing activity performance to enable data-driven decisions and optimization of our investments.

  • Marketing Operations: Develop and optimize processes for efficiency and scalability. Establish and enhance demand generation processes for pipeline creation and conversion. Implement effective account and lead management processes.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.

Required Skills:

  • Degree or equivalent and 10+ years of
    relevant experience. 8+ years of experience required with advanced degree.

Preferred Skills:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in a growth-focused marketing role at a company or agency

  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong focus on actionable insights

  • Proficient in marketing automation tools (certifications are a plus, in-tool experience required)

  • Expertise in various digital channels, both paid and organic, including LinkedIn and Google

  • Knowledgeable in demand generation and lead management best practices. Experience working with and delivering qualified leads to sales.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills

  • Exceptional project management skills and intense attention to detail

  • Able to self-motivate and work independently in a remote environment

  • MBA preferred but not required

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$148,100 - $246,900
