SUMMARY:
The PRCC Director of Development is responsible for organization-wide grant writing and quality assurance activities. This position collaborates with The PRCC leadership team and program managers to assess organization-wide and programmatic development needs, and strategically uses these findings to apply to local and state funding streams to enhance PRCC programming and service delivery. Moreover, the Director of Development monitors the progress of existing grants toward the successful delivery of their goals. When necessary, the Director of Development intervenes to ensure all deliverables are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages grant application process for local and state funding streams.
- Collects and reviews monthly and quarterly progress reports from PRCC program managers.
- Manages PRCC’s Quality Assurance protocol.
- Conducts periodic internal program audits.
- Consults with management on performance, organizational, and leadership matters.
- Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.
- Attends and participates in the four major PRCC yearly events, i.e.: The Puerto Rican Parade, Fiesta Boricua, Haunted Paseo, and The Three Kings Day celebration.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position requires compliance with all of PRCC’s written standards, including its Standards of Conduct, all policies and procedures and Regulatory Compliance requirements. Compliance will be considered as part of the regular performance evaluation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven effective management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to design effective development activities and protocols.
- Ability to evaluate and research programmatic options and alternatives.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
