KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Director, Performance Development & Career Architecture to join our Talent & Culture organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage partner and employee Performance Development strategies, using input from various stakeholders, that align with the firm’s business strategy
- Partner with the Talent Development team and HR Business Partners to design and implement tools needed to train KPMG partners and employees on the performance framework, guidelines and process, building the capability of HR and leaders to support robust performance feedback and coaching
- Oversee the successful delivery of the related processes and continuously look for new and simpler ways to better assess and motivate performance, leverage internal data and external best practices to uncover trends and drivers that enhance performance
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of partner and employee Career Architecture aligned with our talent strategy by designing frameworks and guidelines that provide clarity on what it takes to achieve career aspirations and to be extraordinary at KPMG, while establishing a framework for the related pay structure
- Lead the design and delivery of the firm’s Performance Development tools and enabling technology; collaborate with broader Talent and Culture colleagues and Digital Nexus to implement, manage, and maintain the system(s)
- Accountable for the ongoing monitoring of emerging trends, critical to ensure we continue to modernize the guidelines to meet the continued evolving needs of the firm to deliver firm wide performance objectives
Qualifications:
- Minimum ten years of recent, related experience with significant experience working with C-level executives to design a complex performance management framework in a highly matrixed organization
- Advanced degree from an accredited college or university in human resources or related field
- Experience in developing agile career frameworks in a complex organization with unique requirements across multiple segments
- Demonstrated ability to lead change in a transformative environment, especially through leveraging digital technologies to support performance management or total rewards processes
- Proven experience managing compensation processes a plus
- Strong organizational, communications, relationship and project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines, manage heavy workloads and prioritize tasks
