ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops and executes a comprehensive annual fundraising plan for the Foundation including managing an online giving platform.
- Effectively prepare and maintain the Foundation budget. Work with the Business Office to ensure accurate accounting of Foundation funds. Assist Business Office with annual audit as requested.
- Oversee donor relations and all fundraising and alumni special events and activities
- Raise public awareness and understanding of the foundation's mission, and activities and programs of the college through active marketing and educational efforts throughout the colleges' service area.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Alumni Association
- Provides oversight as administrator to the Student Scholarship Program with Financial Aid department
- Coordinate and monitor all Foundation processes, data, records and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
- Works closely with the CCC Foundation Board Chair and College President to coordinate, facilitate and attend Foundation Board meetings, attend Foundation Committee meetings as required. Attend and report at College Board meetings and participate in college leadership meetings.
- Operate within the guidelines set forth in the college's policies, procedures and practices. Adhere to applicable donor intent, establish law and other best practice standards for foundation operations and fundraising.
- Works with grant writing department for Foundation grant writing activities
- Develops and oversees budget for the Cultural Arts Series and manages the Season Ticket and sponsorship program with Director of Series
- Oversees budget for the Eula Mae Edwards Museum & Gallery and assists in executing gallery exhibits with Director of fine arts
- Works with the college marketing department to create documents to deliver or to be delivered to diverse audiences (e.g., customers, staff, legislators, the general public, professional groups, etc.) as needed for Foundation, Cultural Arts and Eula Mae Edwards Museum & Gallery.
- Conduct consistent community outreach, in representation of the President and/or the College, through active participation in Chambers, clubs, organizations and events.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIDILITES include but are not limited to: Perform other related duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires frequent sitting/moving about, continuous use of fine motor skills, and pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
Must be available to work 40 hrs. per week with normal work hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evening hours and weekend hours required.

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in business, management, marketing, communications, accounting or other related field.
One-year related experience in fundraising, alumni/donor relations and event planning. Experience in and with foundation management, college foundations, community relations, non-profit operations and marketing within an educational environment preferred.
The individual must possess determination, energy, and a commitment to college development work. Candidates must have effective verbal and written communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills, and project management skills. Computer literacy and database management experience is a requirement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree preferred in business, management, marketing, communications, accounting or other related field.
