Under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the Clinical Director effectively leads all facets of Clinical Services for Rume. The Clinical Director will lead Clinical Managers at multiple locations throughout California. As a senior leadership team member, the Clinical Director provides critical leadership to clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure services are delivered.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Develop, execute, and evaluate action plans to achieve strategic priorities.
· Guide the development of program strategies to ensure the implementation and execution of overall clinical services.
· Responsible for budget development, strategic action plans, staff supervision, and quality of care to patients.
· Responsible for program development, research, and review of the patient’s individual care.
· Drive the development and evaluation of standards, metrics, and the patient database management system to monitor program efficiency and effectiveness.
· Develop and implement policies, procedures, and safety guidelines for all clinical programs to ensure compliance with all (government, funding, clinical) regulations and audits.
· Manage and refine program and staff metrics, productivity standards, and outcomes.
· Leading the planning, coordination, and collaboration in the development of new program initiatives.
· Collaborates with leadership to lead innovation in the specialty areas to improve the patient experience.
· Attends meetings and participates on committees. This includes administrative meetings as appropriate, contributing ideas for improving efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
· Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization. This position may have daily interactions with Physicians, Directors, Managers, Supervisors, as necessary.
· Develops, implements, and administers in-service training and education for staff when appropriate.
· Assists with the management of all clinical and operational aspects of multiple facilities in California.
· Oversee nurse staff.
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
· Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration; or related field (preferred)
· 3 years of management experience in clinical setting or other related healthcare facility.
· Experience with Healthcare EMR (Elation highly preferred).
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
· Excellent communication skills, high level of self-initiative, motivation, independent judgment, and organizational abilities.
· Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to operationalize concepts and transform ideas into action.
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be able to communicate and interface effectively with internal and external customers.
