We are seeking a Director of Business Development and Sales in a high-impact position that will be responsible for executing a strategic sales plan and generating a pipeline of opportunities and revenue streams during a transformative time for our fast-growing business. As a commercial-minded leader with a strong entrepreneurial background, you have the business acumen, work ethic, and consultative skill-sets to manage sales, Business Development, and strategic partnerships for a portfolio of clients.
To drive success in this role, you must understand the power of technology across various business applications with experience and knowledge in real estate and/or construction. You will work with senior leadership and a multi-disciplined team of professionals to manage and own the sales and Business Development process from end to end. Your expertise is hunting, engaging, and closing high-level targets and cultivating relationships with significant clients and revenue.

Through a carefully selected group of leading real estate developers, construction companies, and other partners, we deploy strategic capital to fuel the expansion of our invested companies and align interest among parties.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue through the execution of key phases of a sales cycle
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers across the real estate and construction ecosystem
- Develop and lead direct sales strategies and campaigns
- Conduct discovery calls with C-level executives in buy-side organizations
- Identify unique and specific pain points and opportunities with prospects, and position compelling business cases regarding the FTPT business model and solutions of our clients
- Secure qualified meetings with decisions makers
- Set and achieve KPIs and other key sales metrics
- Create proposals, structure and negotiate sales and partnership agreements, and close deals with favorable terms and mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties
- Provide weekly updates and strategies to manage the pipeline of opportunities
- Compile and present status reports and recommendations to management and clients
- Recruit, manage, and grow a sales team
- Attend industry conferences and events for FTPT and our clients
- Manage partner and prospect information in a CRM ensuring all sales activities, deal metrics, and other KPI data are captured and accurate
- Involvement in the creation and enhancements of strategic business plans for expanding client and partnership opportunities, market penetration, sales and revenue growth, and other key aspects to customer success.
Ideal Qualification:
- 7+ years of b-2-b experience with a focus on high-level sales, technology, strategic partnerships, and other revenue generating activities
- Proven track-record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets, closing sizable deals, and growing a book of Business Experience within real estate, construction, PropTech, ConTech, CleanTech, and/or other related business verticals
- A strong network of industry contacts is a plus. (C-Level, Decision Makers, Key Influencers, etc.)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills is necessary Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and formulating financial and/or client proposals

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
