Responsibilities
- · Ensure the successful achievement of personal and team revenue goals, building internal and external relationships for long-term growth.
- · Recruit, manage, develop, coach, and motivate the sales team by developing their skills to ensure a high professional standard is achieved and monthly Sales and KPI targets are met
- · Sell to existing and potential direct accounts, as well as provide sales support to sales representatives by participating in the sales process to facilitate and/or add value
- · Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products
- · Implement sales strategies by developing field sales action plans
- · Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, and individual recognition
- · Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage and coach accordingly
- · Provide on-the-ground support for sales representatives as they manage the entire sales process
- · Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications, and competition
- · Maintain data relative to partners, accounts, and activities by documenting customer interactions
- · Coordinating with marketing as needed. Support our client survey process
- Qualifications
- · Four-year degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred
- · 2+ years of Sales management experience, solid KPI growth, team development, and retention.
- · Excellent communication, listening, presentation, and customer service skills
- · Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, and a consultative-based sales process
- · Manufacturing, engineering, and floor production experience is needed. We work with that sector in Connecticut.
