Job Title: Director, Growth Marketing

Reports To: Chief Digital Officer

FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: Nashville, TN (hybrid)

The Director, Growth Marketing will ensure the strategic direction of digital marketing within the company, emphasizing brand growth and positioning the company to provide top-notch digital experiences. The Director will lead tactical operations to increase product demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website, and promote an online presence. In addition, the Director, Growth Marketing will work under the direction of the Chief Digital Officer and will lead, inspire, and mentor 6 team members.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads creative digital marketing efforts with a focus on data and metrics with a team of marketing specialists, analysts and project managers

  • Enhances brand awareness and drives customer acquisition and retention within our eCommerce space

  • Oversees the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to include work in digital marketing, email marketing, and SEO/SEM while nurturing email subscribers into sales/sales leads and optimizing email marketing and lifecycle emails

  • Utilizes search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to the website

  • Leads the development, curation, and deployment of compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales

  • Coordinates digital marketing efforts geared to grow business, increase customer engagement, promote products, and optimize the online experience

  • Manages the implementation and development of marketing plans to fulfill the eCommerce vision and strategy for achieving corporate sales and conversion goals

  • Works in tandem with other eCommerce team members and with other Marketing teams to ensure a streamlined brand message that targets the appropriate audience collectively

  • Analyzes market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to mold marketing strategies and product positioning, driving customers through the funnel from brand awareness to order and subscription conversions

  • Reviews online statistics, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketing performance

  • Leverages data analytics to monitor and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategy as necessary to meet KPIs and growth goals

  • Actively manages the digital marketing investments to drive profitable customer acquisition at scale, utilizing data-driven insights to reallocate spend and optimize return

  • Aligns marketing efforts around the biggest opportunities on our product roadmap and collaborate cross-functionally to execute

  • Collaborates with the product development team to ensure seamless integration of product content creation, user feedback, and promotion of product features and enhancements

  • Provides insights and recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Communications, or related field; MBA preferred

  • 7+ years of Growth Marketing experience with at least 5 years of management experience

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that have resulted in continuous market growth

  • Understanding of performance marketing channels including paid search, paid social, display advertising, etc.

  • Must have a strong level of personal organization

  • Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively. Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple tasks is required

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Tech-forward subscription model experience preferred


You will need to be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including:

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

  • Communicate effectively with customers through multiple forms of technology, including telephone and computer. Must be able to receive and convey information

  • Required to retrieve or reposition products like sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds
