As our Director of FP&A, you will hone and optimize a strong FP&A foundation to support aggressive growth goals. This will include financial modeling, reporting, budgeting and organizational planning. You will partner with budget owners and key leaders across the organization to identify areas of strategic opportunity and improvement, and implement and operationalize these improvements. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role will serve as a business and strategic advisor to the company, and support growth initiatives. Postscript is in growth mode and looking for someone to refine and enhance FP&A - your efforts will be critical to achieving our ambitious plans for growth.
This is a fully remote position.
Primary Duties

  • Lead the FP&A function at Postscript, partnering closely with key stakeholders across the business and driving the FP&A function as a proven center of analytical excellence.
  • Interface directly with senior leadership across sales, marketing, customer success, and product
  • Own the annual planning process and ongoing rolling forecasts by setting company targets and tracking/reporting performance relative to plan
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to business unit leaders by providing critical reporting and providing actionable insights rooted in financial and data analysis
  • Partner on key financial activities such as strategic planning, new product evaluation, capacity planning, ROI analysis, and churn analysis
  • Build and iterate on complex financial models covering all aspects of the business that will enable effective decision-making regarding our revenue, growth strategy, and cost structure
  • Provide monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting of product-level financial and operational results and variances to plan to ensure key drivers, issues, and required actions are deeply understood
  • Drive complex ad-hoc analyses, financial models, and business cases, including capacity and cohort modeling, to influence investment in engineering and product development
  • Analyze deal structure and pricing as part of our deal desk
  • Work closely with our Business Intelligence department to ensure robust data access and accuracy
  • Maintain visibility of the competitive landscape, assess potential market entrants and competitive technologies, and factor the implications of emerging competition on our strategic planning and go-live efforts
  • Identify areas of strategic opportunity and improvement. Collaborate with leadership across the company to drive strategic initiatives
  • Develop expertise in Postscript's business model, including how we can best create and maximize value.
  • Build strong relationships across the company and influence decision-making across the organization in line with strategic and financial goals

What We'll Love About You
  • 8+ years experience in progressive finance experience, including investment banking, management consulting, or FP&A experience for a high growth tech company. Consumption-based SaaS experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling a strong FP&A foundation. Scaling stage experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent proficiency in financial modeling with Excel and Google Sheets; Salesforce, SQL, and Looker experience preferred
  • Track record of working cross-functionally to deliver maximum business value
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate well with stakeholders across the business
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and deadline driven
  • Results oriented, with proven ability to prioritize and deliver quality work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to "write the narrative" for a cross functional audience
