THE ROLE
The FinancialForce Education Services business includes the development and delivery of offerings that allow our customers to adopt the usage of our solutions. As Director you will be responsible for all aspects of the FinancialForce Education Services business.. These aspects include selling and positioning of education services, innovating the portfolio of offerings, building and maintaining content in-line with FinancialForce solutions, overseeing successful delivery of instructor-led training courses and enterprise learning programs, and managing certification programs for customers and partners.
In the Education and Certification space you will provide exceptional leadership to a team that delivers industry-leading levels of training and certification to both our customer & partner base. You will continuously review the effectiveness of the existing curriculum, its teaching procedures and delivery methodologies that ensure the requirements of our end customers and partners are achieved and exceeded. You will be responsible for maintaining an excellent internal business network within the FinancialForce's Sales/Product/Partner/Customer Success organizations to ensure alignment, collaboration and teamwork prevail at all times. The candidate will have a keen interest in the latest tools and delivery technologies in the education world specifically in relation to remote learning.
You will develop innovative solutions in conjunction with Sales, Marketing and Partner management teams to drive forward bookings and revenue while keeping close control on the overall organization margin within a well-managed budget.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
- Provide exceptional leadership to the Education Team as a key member of the overall Customer Operations leadership team.
- Develop trusted internal and external business relationships to deliver on the groups goals.
- Define and deliver the overall Education strategy and roadmap for FinancialForce.
- Deliver a constantly developing, Industry-leading Education & Certification Program.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Support, R&D and Product Management, Customer Success, Customer Experience, Partner Success, Sales, and others to develop a programmatic approach to drive and support group objectives.
- Analyze the data around usage of content and use that to make recommendations about content gaps or styles of content as an advocate for client user.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- 8-10 years of demonstrated success as a director in a similar role with deep knowledge of running an education services business.
- Experience forecasting bookings, revenue and margin for an education services business.
- Inspirational people management and communication skills with an ability to energize your team through a passionate & authentic leadership style.
- Proven ability to successfully execute on Education delivery of instructor-led training, on-demand training and customer and partner learning programs..
- Deep Knowledge of best practices and program design.
- Trusted communications & partnership with both internal and external organizations.
- Excellent communications including engagements with customers and external parties.
- Hands on experience with business systems, such as learning management systems, Salesforce, analytics, marketing automation, etc.
- Experience with building out advanced analytics systems and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to lead and influence cross-functionally and communicate with internal and external executives.
- Understanding company and department goals, you are able to develop strategies, supporting programs and initiatives.
- A solid project manager, you are able to follow through on your initiatives, dispatching the right resources to achieve goals -- and measuring results.
- You are adept at planning ahead and have a solid roadmap that all cross-functional partners are aware of.
