Job Description
Vericast is looking to add a Director, Digital FI Products to the team! As the Director of Digital FI Products, you will assume a pivotal role in overseeing the continuous management of our digital product range, encompassing both the development of new products and the ongoing improvement of existing ones. In this capacity, you will be tasked with delineating and executing the overarching vision for our product portfolio. This includes formulating product visions and roadmaps, prioritizing strategic initiatives, and collaborating closely with our product marketing and sales teams to communicate the value proposition to our clients effectively. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills and a track record of successfully overseeing the expansion of a product management organization and product suite within the financial services sector. In addition, the Director will play a key role in comprehending the competitive landscape of financial services advertising, pinpointing areas of potential growth, and driving a strong return on investment in our product offerings. A keen sense of business acumen will be essential to guide decision-making and collaborate with senior management in navigating trade-offs.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Product Development: As the Director of Digital Products, you will play a pivotal role in crafting robust product solutions that address the unique challenges faced by financial institutions in the digital realm. Your primary goal will be to deliver value to our financial institution clients. Your innovative and creative expertise will fuel the development of a compelling product vision and roadmap. You'll be responsible for defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for all product launches, ensuring that we track their performance and report on their profitability. Collaboration with our Digital Product teams will be crucial to ensure alignment and channel parity for our financial institution clients. You'll also need to carefully balance product investment decisions to maximize long-term growth potential while aligning with existing short term revenue goals. Your leadership will extend to providing guidance and feedback to the product management team, fostering a culture of excellence in product development. (50%)
- Communicationand Leadership: Your role encompasses facilitating the entire product development lifecycle, from understanding business needs to building product concepts, testing, creating specifications documents, and devising go-to-market strategies. Effective communication is paramount, as you will need to clearly convey the product strategy to the executive team, highlighting potential risks and trade-offs. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, sales, analytics, and data science experts, you will plan and execute architectural improvements for specific products as needed. Cross-functional collaboration across the organization will be essential to ensure alignment on product strategy and areas of investment. You will serve as a leading advocate and expert for Vericast FI marketing solutions, articulating their features, benefits, value proposition, and key market differentiators to assist our sales teams. Partnering effectively with Business Development, Strategy, and Sales teams will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, and you may also explore opportunities for partnerships and licensing agreements with external third parties to further our objectives. - Competitive Landscape Analysis: You will be expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of the competitive landscape within the financial services industry. This involves identifying areas of growth and formulating strategies to achieve a strong return on investment for our product offerings. Developing comprehensive business cases will be a key responsibility, involving a data-driven approach that considers market demand, customer pain points, and alignment with Vericast's strategic goals. (20%)

Additional Information
Pay Range: $150,000-$186,000
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
