Job description

Job Summary
The Director, Channel Partnerships be based in Fremont, CA or remote. In this highly cross-functional role, you will collaborate with teams across Nextracker including Sales, Operations, Finance, Product Management and Engineering to grow and support existing and new distribution channels. This position reports to SVP of Sales and is critical to the effective growth of the Nextracker distribution business.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) how you will measure success:
  • Achieving / Exceeding sales goals and overall financials for distribution program
  • Develop and implement a plan to support channel partnershis
  • Grow distribution channels and onboard new partners
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, partners and stakeholders
  • Participate in and guide product development and drive partnership activities to advance the product and services offering

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:
  • Key leadership role helping to lead the growth and execution of NX's distribution strategy while coordinating with internal engineering, project management and sales teams
  • Develop Account strategy, Opportunity structure, and manage funnel through salesforce.com
  • Participate in professional organizations and attend relevant conferences
  • Channel leads to established developer/owner partnerships and close business
  • Create and manage reporting dashboards on funnel and contracted opportunities
  • Enable and empower channel partnerships with the associated service and support

Here is some of what you'll need (required):
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, program management or a related field, with a focus on distribution and channel partnerships
  • Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and allocating resources to meet project deadlines and budgets
  • Passion for and commitment to the organization's mission and goals.
  • Ability to travel to meet customers or customer projects site 35% of the time
