We are looking for an experienced DSP-Direct Support Professional in Vanderbilt, PA 15486, to work with a male in Vanderbilt, PA 15486. They are requesting two, 5 hour shifts with flexible days and time. You would be taking the client out into the community to assist him in activities he enjoys. Pay rate is $18-$20 per hour based on experience. About the Role:
JCAH Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), Direct Support Professional (DSP) works under the direction of the Client Care Manager and under the general guidance of the Participant. Our Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are responsible for providing supportive care to the Participant as they help them with the instrumental activities of daily living, allowing them to remain in their residence and maintain as much independence as possible.
Our Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must meet minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks: Criminal Background Investigation, ChildLine Verification, FBI background check.
- Must have reliable transportation and fulfill assignments with reliability and punctuality.
- Must satisfactorily complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program.
- Must be able to function in a home setting with minimal direct supervision.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and document services provided.
- Must be genuinely concerned about helping people and have high moral standards of honesty and integrity
