Job Description
The Blick Center has an opening in their Adult Day Services Program for a full time Direct Support Professional (DSP). In this position you will be helping support individuals with disabilities in developing skills and increasing independence as they engage in meaningful group activities.
Full-time Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 3:30 pm; no weekend hours!
Salary: $17.00/hour starting pay plus additional $1/hour shift premium for working weekends Friday afternoon to Monday morning.

Duties include:
- Working in collaboration with therapists and other team members to prepare and implement daily group activities for clients based on the core group activities calendar.
- We strive to actively engage individuals in activities that support personal preferences and abilities, offer vocational support, and volunteer opportunities, and promote community inclusion, involvement, independence, and well-being.
- Staff provide crisis intervention if required and assist clients with personal care as needed.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Two years of working in the field is preferred, but not required.
- This is a physically active position which requires the individual to be able to life, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
