We are seeking an experienced Direct Care Worker to join our team at WAYGFT in providing high-quality care to individuals in need. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Cooking nutritious meals and ensuring dietary needs are met
- Maintaining a clean and organized living environment
- Administering medications accurately and on schedule
- Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing
- Monitoring and documenting changes in clients' health status
- Providing companionship and emotional support
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to pass basic criminal background checks with no history of violence
- TB test results required to start
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in caregiving or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
