Job Description
We are seeking a Dining Room Coordinator/Transportation Driver to join the Marian E. Burch Adult Day Care and Rehabilitation Center Team. Marian E. Burch is a department of Calhoun County Medical Care Facility and provides services to clients 18 years and older with physical or mental disabilities. The Center specializes in care for adults who need supervised care during the day in a safe environment outside the home. You will work alongside fellow co-workers to ensure our clients receive a positive dining experience as well as safely transport them to and from their homes and our Center.
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- Food Service experience and knowledge of regulations preferred
- Chauffer's License REQUIRED at a minimum.
- CDL Class C or above with Passenger Endorsement preferred and must be obtained at own expense.
- Familiarity with driving transport vehicle a PLUS, but not mandatory
- Ability to build rapport with clients and family
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for directing dining areas to include planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the dining program.
- Maintain a clean, healthy and positive environment.
- Transport clients by taking them to and from the center.
Wages:
$ 15.00 per hour
Hours:
This position is a full-time position working M-F 8:30 am -4:30 pm. Major holidays and weekends off. If the candidate is interested in the Dining Room Coordinator position only, the hours would be reduced to part-time.
