Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital S/W Engineer Group Manager for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Design and develop shared services and frameworks for building complex, high-volume, self-service personal banking and wealth management applications using Java/JFP Framework, API/Microservices Architecture, Web Services (SOAP and REST) technologies in enterprise private (Pivotal Cloud Foundry / OpenShift) and public cloud (AWS/GCP). Prepare detailed technical designs that account for security, resiliency, scalability, maintainability, and performance. Code, test, debug, implement, and support complex financial applications. Strive for continuous improvements of our processes, application designs, and application execution. Collaborate with onshore/offshore employees and contract resources, ensuring adherence to Citi processes and standards. Remain abreast of emerging technologies for private and public cloud adoption. Oversee employee and contractor engineers, providing mentorship of junior team members. Maintain accountabilities for all phases of development process - analysis, design, construction, testing and implementation in both waterfall and agile development lifecycles. Collaborate with business partners and analysts to review requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and technically feasible. Translate requirements into innovative solutions that provide excellent client experience and align with Personal Banking and Wealth Management Technology's architectural roadmap. Work with business and product owners to design and define optimal technical solutions to meet specific business requirements. Work on Micro services using Spring Boot, Docker/Kubernetes and Pivotal Application Service. Provide business and technical support to any team dependency (Including Global teams) on shared services and frameworks. Work with Partnership & Wealth management business teams, Citi Technology and Infrastructure (CTI), Engineering & Architecture and Information Security teams to drive solutions for personal banking and wealth management applications.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst, Technical Lead, or related position involving cloud based micro services development and maintenance of applications. 7 years of experience must include: Developing S/W using Java Micro Services and reviewing peer's code; Supporting various production Services in enterprise Cloud; Developing and maintaining User Interface (UI) based applications using internet technologies and programming such as HTML, CSS and Java Script; Developing new features within UI applications; Developing and testing database utilities; Performing database analysis, design and troubleshooting; Object-oriented programming, and design and analysis in Java language; and Building and maintaining unit tests and API test suites.
