PAY RATE: $22hr - $28hr (Determined by experience)

General Position Summary: The ABG Press Operator performs all tasks in make-ready, preventative maintenance and production run assignments. The press operator is responsible for Make Ready and ensuring that quality is to the highest standards and that production schedules are met as required. Responsibilities

• Operates assigned equipment in accordance with the manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
• Reads and is familiar with all documented procedures within the area of responsibility.
• Performs all tasks according to the production schedule.
• Thoroughly reads and complies with all special instructions and specifications.
• Starts press, adjusting speed, tension, and alignment as necessary.
• Cuts sample of printed material from end of printed roll and inspects for imperfections, such as blurred or off-center impressions.
• Monitors the production during run quality, maintaining all required samples.
• Recording of time and production for job costing.
• Performs all required preventative maintenance in accordance with production schedule.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and press.
• Observe company work rules and safety regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Understands and utilizes Firma without mistakes.
• Must work well with others in a team environment.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Prior packaging experience.
• Combination of education and experience determined by hiring manager.
