Digital Content Specialist

We encourage you to join FIA Oakland as our Digital Content Specialist to develop dynamic social content, and manage FIA’s social media.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a consultant for 15 hours per week to work as part of FIA’s Team to bring a fresh and authentic voice to the Oakland community. You will work to develop and evaluate successful social media, blogs, and email campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

• Writing and publishing content weekly (email, blog, social)

• Managing content development and writing production

• Development of dynamic and informative blogs

• Management of FIA’s social feeds on IG, FB, Twitter

• Planning and implementing dynamic social media campaigns

• Creating and developing content aligned to FIA’s core values and mission

• Building our digital community, setting KPI’s and hitting growth targets

• Providing monthly data reports and updates

• Coverage of FIA events and development of content for live streaming; supporting family organizers to develop organic content

Support and Development

Meet with the Comms Team each week for content development and feedback. Meet biweekly 1:1 with the Director of Operations and Senior Comms Strategist for guidance, coaching, and support.

Compensation

$40-60/hour depending on experience.
