The Communications team is responsible for conveying Snap’s mission, vision and values to core audiences within our community, which include Snapchatters, advertising partners, content partners, investors, policymakers, and Snap team members. This passionate team works diligently to show the world what makes Snapchat the best platform for communication and storytelling, and to ensure narratives about the company, its people, and its products are accurate and compelling.
We’re looking for a Digital Manager to join the Communications team at Snap Inc!
What you’ll do:
  • Leads all digital and social initiatives for the comms team
  • Oversee and execute digital strategy supporting global communications team and other stakeholders
  • Identify new opportunities to amplify original storytelling and creative content to reach key audiences on internal and external platforms
  • Develop, own and manage strategy for Snap Inc on social platforms, and be active on all platforms on a daily basis
  • Develop, own and manage cross platform editorial calendar, aligned with key communications initiatives and business priorities
  • Develop strategy to measure cross platform content performance (including SEO) to better understand audience engagement and improve reach
  • Manage workflow and approval process for social channels
  • Manage strategy and updates for Newsroom and other owned content platforms.
  • On occasion, write and edit original content including articles, profiles, case studies, thought leadership and social copy.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Possesses a strategic mindset with the ability to align creative content with overall business objectives and brand strategy.
  • Has experience working across multiple digital, social and internal communications platforms
  • Industry knowledge and experience working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge and expertise of social and digital platforms
  • Ability to deliver insights and creative ideas informed by data
  • Ability to oscillate between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution
  • Ability to collaborate and influence with all levels
  • High judgment with effective problem-solving skills when working independently or with others
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 8+ years experience in a related role
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Corporate communications or agency experience preferred
  • Basic graphic design skills

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC)
:
The base salary range for this position is $152,000-$228,000 annually.

Zone B
:
The base salary range for this position is $144,000-$217,000 annually.
Zone C
:
The base salary range for this position is $129,000-$194,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
