Digital Communications, Audience
and Innovation Leader, a role that is central to our communications team. This position is designed for a deeply energetic, creative, and seasoned leader who is skilled at balancing brand awareness, reputation protection, and campaign execution. You will lead a team of
Digital Communications strategists, communicating our purpose and offerings to the market through innovative and impactful digital channels.
Key responsibilities
- Digital Strategy Leadership: Lead our Digital Communications strategy, encompassing audience development, content creation, and distribution.
- Audience Intelligence and Development – Develop audience development strategy to successfully reach and engage with key Nasdaq stakeholders, while developing data intelligence framework to inform continuous improvement of campaigns.
- Social Media Strategy: Define and refine our approach to social media, building community management capabilities and creating compelling, audience-centric content.
- Paid Media Strategy – Lead paid media strategy for communications team and key performance marketers as part of the Paid Social Media Center of Excellence.
- Content Production: Manage the development and execution of communications content strategy that includes the management of Nasdaq’s Newsroom and the development of in-depth content that resonates with our audiences and supports our brand narrative.
- Collaborations: Lead efforts to define organic content collaborations with key third parties, advocates, and customers to support reputational and commercial goals.
- Innovation Initiatives: Spearhead AI projects and other innovative endeavors, bringing first-of-its-kind solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
- 12-15 years of experience in Digital Communications.
- Deep familiarity with paid and organic strategies for social media platforms, especially Twitter (X) and LinkedIn.
- Proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Ability to serve as a senior advisor to the executive management team.

The base pay range for this role is $118,400 - $197,300. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
