Diesel Mechanic

Madden Industrial Craftsmen, Inc. is seeking a day shift Diesel Mechanic in Tigard, Oregon. The person in this position will service both traditional Class 7 gas engine and diesel engine vehicles i.e. flat bed with boom trucks for a building materials company.

Responsibilities:

• Routine maintenance and repairs to trucks, equipment, and other company vehicles (Class 7 diesel trucks)

• Perform repairs on hydraulics systems, air brake and truck air operated systems, electrical systems, cooling systems, drive train, engines, fuel lines, suspensions, body, and arms.

• Perform services and inspections.

• Complete preventative maintenance procedures.

• Welding occasionally for repair or installation needs.

• Utilize extensive troubleshooting knowledge to work on older vehicles (2006 and earlier).
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of traditional and Diesel Mechanic experience.

• Must have driver's license.

• Mechanic related certifications are preferred.

• Must be knowledgeable in all phases of heavy equipment, truck maintenance & repair.

• Must have hand tools for the mechanic trade.

• Knowledge of air, hydraulic, and electrical systems with ability to read schematics.

• Requires strenuous physical work to include lifting 50+ lbs.

• Requires passing a pre-employment drug screen.
  

Shift:

• 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday thru Friday
