Dicing and Logistics Support Specialist

This position is located at the Air Force Research Laboratory Sensors Directorate, Aerospace Components and Subsystems Technical Division. The Devices for Sensing Branch leads the AF in development of electronic devices for sensing for next generation military aerospace systems. In-house and contractual programs range from basic research and exploratory development to advanced integrated circuit technology demonstration efforts. Explores evolutionary and revolutionary device development and conducts feasibility demonstration efforts on devices and circuits with potential for high frequency microwave/millimeter wave and high-speed electronics applications.
Position Description:
KBR is seeking a highly motivated Dicing and Logistics Support Specialist. The candidate supports basic and exploratory research in sensor materials and devices for RYD. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 1) maintain, modify, and repair equipment used for the development of semiconductor materials/devices and integrated circuits; 2) operate and maintain wafer Dicing and packaging systems; 3) assist in designing modifications and upgrades of existing electronic and electromechanical equipment; 4) fabricate, test, and assist in the installation of site specific equipment modifications and upgrades; 5) maintain Elector Static Discharge program for RYD; 6) assist in maintaining supply inventories. The Government will supply the contractor with an initial supply and restocking requirements at contract start; 7) turn in excess equipment to LMCA: purge equipment as required, complete paperwork and relocate equipment, complete log for turn ins and organize them for LMCA, stage equipment on RY facility dock on pick up day; 8) manage an Organizational Visibility List of items that are under the threshold for LMCA but need to be tracked; 9) provide additional support to Logistics manager as directed by Facility and Logistics Managers.
Required Education:
- Associate of Science degree in Physical Science, Engineering discipline, or related fields required or 4 Years' relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or other related fields desired.
Required Experience:
- 4 Years' relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are required
- Must be a US citizen and meet Air Force Research Laboratory requirements to access Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Security Clearance Requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
