Production & Purchasing Support Specialist

Scaletta Armoring, an automotive remanufacturer located in Bedford Park, IL has an immediate need for a Production and Purchasing Support Specialist.

Production and Purchasing Support Specialist

Responsibilities include:

• Track inventory and submit purchase orders as required.
• Work closely with the production team to understand the procurement requirements and manage the procurement of products and services.
• Prepare proposals, request quotes for outside service or maintenance requests, and ensure that you comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Accountable for preparing reports, maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records, and generating quotes for customers.
• Coordinate travel for service or quality control visits.
• Create bill of lading, notify customer of shipment.
• Set up new parts numbers in Sage; enter physical counts in Sage.
• Coordinate all cycle counting and input results of cycle counts.
• Support weekly snacks on Thursday with HR

Requirements:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems.
• Strong math and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
