Development Manager Job Description

Responsibilities:

1.Oversee Project Development:

Lead and manage the development teams working on Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) projects, overseeing the creation of cutting-edge solutions that can seamlessly extend across diverse platforms, including iOS, Android, Web, and desktop.

Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions in adherence to project timelines.

2.Technical Guidance:

Provide technical leadership and guidance on the current technology stack, including NextJs, React Context, TailwindCSS, NextUI, SyncFusion, C# .NET, MySQL, AWS services, Flutter, and associated tools.

Collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges and ensure alignment with best practices.

3.Team Management:

Help build and lead a high-performing development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and mentorship to enhance team members' skills and professional growth.

Collaborate closely with the Leadership Team to define and implement a robust architectural framework for systems, structure the engineering team effectively, and work in tandem with the product team to shape the product vision. Develop a comprehensive success roadmap for the engineering team, ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions and successful project outcomes.

4.System Architecture:

Work closely with architects to design and review system architectures for scalability, performance, and security.

Evaluate and recommend improvements to the current tech stack to enhance system efficiency and maintainability.

5.Project Planning and Execution:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leadership, product team, and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.

Develop and execute project plans, ensuring effective resource utilization and risk management.

Qualifications/Experience:

1.Proven Leadership:

5+ years of experience in a leadership role overseeing software development teams.

Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

2.Technical Proficiency:

Strong technical background with hands-on experience in technologies such as NextJs, React, C# .NET, MySQL, AWS, and Flutter.

Familiarity with mobile development using Flutter and backend technologies.

3.Communication Skills:

Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Leadership. Proven experience in stakeholder interaction, delivering impactful project presentations, and tailoring communication to resonate with Leadership, ensuring a nuanced understanding at all levels of detail.

4.Agile Methodologies:

Experience working in an Agile development environment, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.

5.Architectural Vision:

Proven experience in defining and implementing architectural frameworks for scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.

6.Product Strategy Collaboration:

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product teams in shaping product vision, and creating strategic roadmaps for successful project outcomes.

7.Cloud Expertise:

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms preferably AWS services, EC2, Load Balancer, and S3.

8.Innovative Technology Adoption:

Track record of exploring and incorporating emerging technologies to enhance system efficiency and maintainability.

9.Innovative Technology Adoption:

Exposure to mobile application development using Flutter and knowledge of native components (Android - Java, iOS - Swift).
