Description:
Our client is looking for 10 onsite Desktop Technicians to join their team at the Charlotte, Corporate Headquarters. Candidates will be working on moves duties, differentiated deployments, moves, adds and changes, site surveys, Hardware based work, this is not desktop or user support but they may perform troubleshooting as it relates to re-imaging, blue screen, HW and SW issues. They will be working evening and weekends in addition to their 40 hours a week as needed. Must be open and flexible to overtime. Candidates should have experience performing moves, disconnects and reconnects.
There is also some administrative functions to this job as they have to document their work and follow up with emails to users regarding updates to projects. Candidates must have good customer service and written and verbal communication skills. Must be team player!

Office consolidation and Technology Set Up - Complete final signoff of in office technology solutions to enable successful Day 1 return
Shared Technology - Verify all shared technology is operational and ready
Day One Support – Provide technology support for associates for quick resolution of any technical issues or training needed with return to office
Experience in a fast-paced high request volume environment is critical. Must have very strong communication skills (both written and oral). Ability to multi-task and have prior experience with common request management ticketing systems. Prior experience with change management is a plus. Ability to consistently meet or exceed performance targets and goals correlated with complex MAC (Move Add Change) request management and meet tight deadlines in a demanding environment. Required to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge/exposure to the telecommunications environment is desired coordination with vendors, site surveys, ordering, and final desk level confirmation needed Ordering and Set Up- Configure and order if needed technology prior to return to office Day 1 and complete any moves as needed.
