StandUp Wireless is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our remote employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Desktop Support, with expertise in Windows and macOS environments/equipment and Microsoft Office 365.

What You Will Be Doing
This role will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues; assisting with system implementations, upgrades, and migrations; and providing training and guidance to end-users. This is a remote (work at home) position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing remote technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and remote desktop tools.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices running Windows and macOS.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop operating systems, applications, and peripherals on both Windows and macOS platforms.
- Assisting with system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
- Collaborating with IT teams to implement and support Office 365 services.
- Providing training and guidance to end-users on best practices for using IT resources effectively and securely.
- Shipping and tracking IT equipment.
- Documenting support activities, including troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and knowledge base articles.
- Recommending system and process improvements.
- Remaining current with emerging technologies and best practices in Desktop Support and IT service management.
How You Qualify
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; additional experience may be substituted for education.
- Proven experience in Desktop Support, with at least 2 years of experience supporting remote users in Windows and macOS environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices running both Windows and macOS.
- Experience with remote desktop tool.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Can quickly and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT security best practices.
