Dermatology Front Desk Receptionist, Full-time position

Seeking to add a great multi-tasking, front office receptionist for our dermatology office.

Monday and Friday are 7:45 am-4:15 pm. Wednesdays are 7:45 am - 1:30 pm.

***At least 1 year of medical experience preferred. Not accepting students who are still enrolled in school at this time or will be taking classes simultaneously***

***MUST live within 10 miles of Pasadena, CA.

We are looking for a long-term candidate who can commit to at least one year. Must be a great multi-tasker.

We are looking for a motivated Front Desk Receptionist for our clinic! You will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. This includes administrative work/checking insurance eligibility/checking patients in/out, obtaining prior authorizations, collecting patient payments, and for biopsy call backs. Must be strong at multi-tasking and a great communicator. You will support the doctor and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

***We use an electronic medical record system for all documentation- Candidates must be competent with Ipads/computers.

Scheduling patient appointments

Calling patients with biopsy results
Checking eligibility, checking and requesting referrals

Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software and IPads

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
