About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Program Manager to join our dynamic team at X-Bow Launch Systems, Inc. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the successful execution of critical projects that drive innovation in space launch technology. This is a unique role that will be onsite at Edwards AFB and the candidate would ideally possess skills in project management and customer/supplier relationship management.

- Lead and manage complex aerospace projects from initiation to completion.

- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

- Identify and allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, for project tasks.

- Monitor project progress, assess and manage risks, and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project delivery.

- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.

- Report project status and results to senior management and stakeholders.

- Ensure projects adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project teams.

- Business Development and Customer/Supplier relationship management is desirable

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field (Master's preferred).

- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the aerospace industry.

- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Knowledge of aerospace and space launch technologies is a plus.

- PMP or other project management certification is desirable.
