We are seeking a detail orientated team member who will work as a Dental receptionist on Fridays and chairside Dental Assisting on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Paid on the job training is provided for this career position. The ideal candidate is dependable and enjoys working with patients and other team members. As a Dental Receptionist and Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. This is a full or part time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Help office engage in social media
- Assist with dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and providing chairside assistance as needed
- Utilize electronic health record systems to input and retrieve patient information
- Follow aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking X-rays and capturing intraoral images using CAD technology
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
