We are seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator to join our team of dental professionals. We are a family-owned, long-standing institution within the City of Everett, and have been faithfully serving the community for over 30 years. Our newly-renovated, state-of-the-art facility utilizes electronic patient charts, Dentrix management software, digital x-rays, an in-office milling machine (for same-day dental crowns), and other modern technologies to provide our patients with efficient, quality, and personalized patient care.
Our ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:
- Prior experience within the dental / dental insurance field
- Prior experience with Dentrix management software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A calm, friendly, and positive demeanor
- A detail-oriented and professional work-ethic
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer efficiencies (with the ability to learn other software systems as needed)
- Prior experience with Lighthouse 360 Patient Communication Software is encouraged by not required
- A passion for patient care and customer service
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Interacting with patients in a positive professional manner via telephone and in person.
- Managing the office schedule and confirming patient appointments.
- Reviewing patient treatment plans and informing them of financial responsibilities.
- Accurately confirming insurance benefits; communicating and collecting patient payments.
- Maintaining all official patient records with accurate data entry of all patient information.
- Responding to patient and doctor requests for information.
- Maintaining strict compliance to HIPAA and patient privacy.
- Helping to promote the practice through internal and external marketing efforts.
- Performing other related job duties as assigned.
We are offering both part-time / full-time hours, and long-term applicants are preferred. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and there is much room for career development as our practice continues to grow.
