```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. If you have experience in dental reception and possess strong organizational and communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
-Verify insurances and put them in the Dentrix software
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our office management system (Dentrix,)
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient treatment plans
- Manage office supplies and ensure the reception area is clean and presentable
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy
-Place EOB in the patient leger
-Spanish is a plus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role
- Proficient in using dental office management software (Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, etc.)
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Familiarity with phone systems and general office equipment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality
