Position title : Receptionist / Front Dental Office
Job Description:
Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers.
Full Time / Part time
Main Duties:
- Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments.
- Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
- Maintain general cleanliness of the front office.
- The person must be a team player, with an outgoing, friendly and positive personality.
- Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented.
- Memorize and use scripts effectively both over the phone and in person.

- confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
- check daily appointment schedule
- arrange patient charts for next day appointments
- fill in cancellations and no-shows
- organize referrals to other medical specialists.
- Transmit information or documents to patients using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
- Balance credit transactions and provide basic financial clerical support duties.
- prepare claim forms for dental insurance
- Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner.
- Maintain regular attendance and adhere to the assigned work schedule and office policies.
- Must be able to comfortably and efficiently handle multiple deadlines and task assignments.
- Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings.

Experience and Education
- GED Certificate, high school diploma or comparable experience
Salary
- Salary can vary from $17-$25/hr based on experience and education level.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
