To be successful in this role the Dental Receptionist should possess the following:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or similar role, in a dental setting
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes and billing procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic dental records systems , Eagle Soft experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, dental records management and basic understanding of dental procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented mindset
```Duties```
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the Dental Office
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Schedule appointments and manage the Dental Office's calendar
- Collect and update patient information in the electronic dental records system
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
