SalaryPrivate general dentistry practice in Dunedin, FL seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist preferably with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. This position is currently for 2-3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) with the potential to add additional days in the future.
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the office runs efficiently. We are looking for a candidate who is a quick learner and will help ensure the utmost comfort of our patients. We are also looking for a candidate that has experience using Dentrix software, and experience submitting and processing insurance claims.
Requirements:
- Preferred 2 years of experience in a Dental Office
- Experience with Dentrix
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude
- Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Accountable and reliable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using Dental Office software (Dentrix)
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Maintain patient records and update medical history forms
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow
- Provide information to patients regarding dental procedures, treatments, and post-operative care
- Maintaining a clean and organized Dental Office
