Duties
As a Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk area in a dental office. Your duties will include:
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar
- Answering phone calls and emails, and responding to patient inquiries
- Verifying insurance coverage and processing insurance claims
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring accuracy
- Coordinating with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Handling billing. payment processing, an d administrative tasks
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- At least 2 years experience working in a dental office or medical setting
- Proficiency in Dentrix software and other relevant systems
-Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurances
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
