We are seeking a reliable and friendly Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our medical office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental office administration and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
```Duties```
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Schedules appointments using the dental appointment software Dentrix Ascendent.
-Manage patient scheduling and direct patient flow
-Responsible for daily completion of insurance verification
-Provides patient eligibility screening utilizing Dentrix Ascendent software.
-Confirm appointments for the next day based on protocol and patient preferences.
-Patients should be scheduled in advance to make the most of doctor and staff time.
-Check the patient quick-fill list to see if there are any cancellations or no-show appointments.
-Processes patient referrals as needed
-Maintain a mechanism for recall and inactive patients.
-Provide follow-up confirmation of appointments for patients who failed to do so electronically
-Setup third-party finance options for patients
-Coordinate with insurance companies to ensure claim completion
