Group Health Dental, a state-of-the-art dental practice located in the heart of Times Square, is looking for a dynamic and passionate Patient Communication Specialist. This pivotal role is at the forefront of our operations, serving as the primary link between our patients and the exceptional dental services we provide. As part of a busy, well-functioning 19-operator office, you'll be primarily stationed within our Call Center, embodying the voice and ethos of our practice to every caller.
Schedule:
Monday- Friday
8:30 am -5: 30 pm

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence: Handle incoming calls with grace, scheduling appointments, and providing information with a smile that can be heard through the phone.
Administrative Mastery: Draft correspondence, manage electronic files, and assist with financial administrative tasks to keep our office running smoothly.
Team Collaboration: Support the Department Manager in ensuring seamless patient services and contribute positively to team dynamics.
Problem Solving: Tackle challenges with creative solutions and provide steadfast support in resolving patient and team concerns.
Requirements
Experience: At least 2 years in customer service, radiating a sparkling personality.
Skills:
- Proficient in computer navigation, multiple phone line systems, and various software applications (G-suite, Asana, Slack, Open Dental, Zoom – training available).
- Exceptional verbal communication, including the ability to manage difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish are highly preferred, enhancing our capacity to serve diverse communities.
- A knack for multitasking, staying organized, and maintaining emotional stability under pressure.
