Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and positive patient experiences.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental office software systems such as Eagle Soft
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all documentation
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordination of patient referrals to specialists or hospitals, if necessary
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about dental procedures, treatments, and post-operative care
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and organizing paperwork
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist
- Familiarity with dental office software systems such Eagle Soft is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines for handling patient information
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.52 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
