Dental Assistant

Our family & cosmetic single doctor private dental practice is in need of a dynamic Certified Dental Assistant. Our new team member must be well organized and dedicated to our goal of increasing our efficiency while still providing excellent care and support for our patients. Must also have advanced communication skills and well versed in educating patients and promoting comprehensive care.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, set and cleanup operatories
• taking digital dental radiographs (x-rays)
• asking about the patients medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse
• infection control preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
• providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of restoration (filling)
• taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth)
• digital scanning
• charting on eaglesoft

Expanded Fuctions and/or Certification is a plus. **MINIMUM OF 3-5 YEARS OF DENTAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 38 per week
